据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）消息，加拿大总理特鲁多当地时间11日声称，他已下令在加拿大北部空域击落了一个“不明物体”。

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Saturday that an “unidentified object” had been shot down by a US fighter jet over Canadian airspace on his orders.

特鲁多发推称，“我下令击落了一个侵犯加拿大领空的不明物体。北美防空司令部在育空地区上空击落了该物体。加拿大和美国的飞机紧急升空，美国一架F-22战斗机开火成功将它击落”。

“I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. @NORADCommand shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and US aircraft were scrambled, and a US F-22 successfully fired at the object,” Trudeau said on Twitter.

11日，在这个飞行物进入加拿大领空后，特鲁多在和美国总统拜登通话后，双方共同下令击落这一飞行物。

当天，由美国和加拿大战机组成的联合编队共同升空，在追踪到这一飞行物后，一架美方F-22战机开火将其击落。

白宫国家安全委员会发言人约翰·柯比表示，目前尚不清楚这个“高空物体”的用途或来源，但他声称，该物体被击落是因为它漂浮在40000英尺（12192米）的高空，对民用航空构成了“合理的威胁”。

On Friday, the US military shot down a “high-altitude object” over Alaska. The object was flying at 40,000 feet, which posed a “reasonable threat to the safety of civilian flight,” said John Kirby, the National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications.

据悉，加拿大军方正在搜寻这一飞行物的残骸，并计划将其带回研究。虽然特鲁多星期六称该物体“身份不明”，但北美防空司令部发言人称，军方已经确定了这个飞行物是什么，但暂时不愿透露细节。

While Trudeau described the object Saturday as “unidentified,” a NORAD spokesman, US Maj. Olivier Gallant, said the military had determined what it was but would not reveal details.
