外媒最新消息称，当地时间4月2日，美国国会大厦附近一辆汽车冲撞国会建筑物，导致两名国会警察1死1伤，犯罪嫌疑人被击毙。国会大厦及周边地区随即被封锁。

据悉，这是国会大厦在不到三个月时间里第二次被封锁，上次是在今年1月美国总统拜登准备宣誓就职期间。
It was the second line-of-duty death this year for a department still struggling to heal from the Jan. 6 insurrection.

美国国会警察局代理局长尤加南达·皮特曼在一份声明中表示，汽车闯过国会安全护栏后，司机跳车，并持刀砍向国会警察，警察开枪打死司机。
Video shows the driver of the crashed car emerging with a knife in his hand and starting to run at the pair of officers, Capitol Police Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman told reporters. Authorities shot the suspect, who died at a hospital.
皮特曼表示，遇袭身亡的警官被确认为威廉·“比利”·埃文斯，已经在美国国会警察局工作了18年。
Police identified the slain officer as William “Billy” Evans, an 18-year veteran who was a member of the department's first responders unit.
警方确认袭击者是一名25岁的印第安纳州黑人，名叫诺亚·格林（Noah Green）。

拜登：感到痛心
白宫将降半旗致哀
美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）报道称，事件发生后，正在戴维营度过“复活节”假期的拜登及其夫人发表声明，对此事表示痛心（heartbroken）。
“吉尔和我在得知美国国会附近一个安检站发生的暴力袭击事件后，感到痛心。在这次袭击中，美国国会大厦警官威廉·埃文斯遇难，另一位警官正在奋力抢救中。”
"Jill and I were heartbroken to learn of the violent attack at a security checkpoint on the US Capitol grounds, which killed Officer William Evans of the US Capitol Police, and left a fellow officer fighting for his life." Biden said.
“我们向埃文斯军官的家属表示由衷的慰问，每个人都为失去他感到悲痛。我们都知道，对于国会大厦、在那儿工作的所有人以及保卫它的人来说，这是一段多么艰难的时期。”
"We send our heartfelt condolences to Officer Evans' family, and everyone grieving his loss. We know what a difficult time this has been for the Capitol, everyone who works there, and those who protect it."

拜登还表示，自己不断从国土安全顾问那里收到有关这起事故的简报，并将持续关注调查进展。
“I have been receiving ongoing briefings from my Homeland Security Advisor, and will be getting further updates as the investigation proceeds,” he added.
目前，拜登已下令白宫降半旗向埃文斯致哀。
Biden also said he has ordered that the White House flags to be lowered to half-mast.
此外，众议院议长南希·佩洛西和参议院多数党领袖查克·舒默都公开表示对埃文斯英勇行为的赞赏和对其逝世的哀悼。
佩洛西已下令美国国会大厦降半旗以纪念埃文斯逝世，并保证国会将协助执法人员调查此次袭击。
